Yeah Baby!!!
Hello everyone!! It is the last week of the challenge and I went as hard as my body would allow me. Song I love listening to is Eminem "Lose yourself." Although he is one of my favorite rappers, I love the message sends. I get pumped every time I hear that song and it was fitting for this workout. So enough of me sweating over my favorite future hubby (LOL!) let's get to my results.
Day 1 week 4: 3 times through
Pushups + jump over’s: 6/10/10 (these were hard from girlie position)
Burpee + jump+ straddle runs: 12/12/10
Squat + woodchop: 20/24/22
Plank jumps: 36/33/31
A workout it gave me for my core and legs. Congrats to all who are finishing up the challenge and day 1. I can't wait to hear from you and how this challenge benefitted you. Have a wonderful night as I am going to get my Zumba on and then it's lights out for me.

4. Side plank + top leg up (right): 19/25/24
5. Side plank + top leg up (left): 23/24/24
I feel good and I am proud of myself. Congrats to those who completed this week and now we will be graduating next week. Let's take this weekend to relax and push harder for our last week. I will say I have not seen the scale move but I have seen my close get very loose on me. So am I sad that I have not reached my goal, HELL NO!! I see the results of my workout and I am happy for it. I am going to continue with this as for I have not tried Sean's workouts. So I will mix his workouts in with my daily cardio and hope that Body Rock comes up with another challenge so I can continue. Have a great night everyone. I have Zumba to do now and I will see you guys on Monday. Here is my theme song for the night enjoy.

Day 1 Week 3 Results
I have completed todays challenge and here are my results:
Squat jumps: 30
Pushups (girlie I am): 15
Burpees: 9
High knees: 127
Lunges: 30
Top jumps: 19
Abs: 27
I know I could have done better but had to deal with a personal situation this week and this weekend and it took everything out of me. I still pushed and prayed that things would get better. It is hard to try to help someone you truly care about get through a tough situation. I hope that they know that I am here for them no matter what and that I am the real deal. I am hoping that the next challenge I am stress free and everything is at a balance. I hope that all is doing well on the challenge and good luck to those who are sticking it out. See you again with tomorrow’s results.

Day 5 Week 2 Challenge and results
You made it to day 5!!! Give it all you got and get closer to your goal.
I did it guys. I did this routine in 12:30. I would like to get it down to 10 or under but that is something to work towards. Now this weekend you are to relax but don't relax too much. Remember smart choices are still to be made on your off days. Make next step as this challenge starts coming to an end is to start shaving unwanted calories off. I will always say that the first step to getting towards your goal is getting out there and moving. As you start feeling stronger, start making better decisions about what you put into your mouth. Remember that this is a lifestyle change and not a get to your goal program. I still eat the same foods but in moderation. I make alternatives to high fat foods that will still give me what I want. So let’s hear about what you are doing to get you closer to your goal of living a healthier lifestyle. Now it's time for me to get my cardio on. See you guys soon.

Day 4 Week 2: Push it to the limit
Hello everyone. I am still alive so call off the search parties. This week has been a very trying week for me. My baby got really sick and we had to go to the ER Tuesday evening. It is a scary time when you are not able to fix the problem of your child. I really felt helpless. He has been sick before but never like this. I think I was more helpless because for the first time, I had to do this alone. The partner that I use to lean on for support and strength was no longer there. The good news I took from all that has happen this week is my baby would be fine. Love and tenderness will get us through this patch. Due to the hectic week, I missed my workouts. So today I had to make up 3 workouts and boy let me tell you, I feel like jello. So enough of me talking, let me give you my results.

Press-up + Burpee + Tuck Jump x2 & 10 x Straight Punches: 3
Press-up + Burpee + Tuck Jump x2 & 10 x Hook Punches: 3
Press-up + Burpee + Tuck Jump x2 & 2 x Straight Punches + 2 x Hook Punches: 5
2 x Mid Abs + 2 x Bag Touch Abs: 10 on each level
I so have to get my upper body strengthen better. I know I can do way better than I am doing I just have to work on it and this is helping. For those taking the challenge, welcome back for the second week. I hope we did not over indulge in weekend foods that got us back to a sluggish pace today. One of the challenges on here was to start posting your breakfast so let me tell you what I had this morning. I had whole wheat toast lightly buttered, a cup of grapes, and a cup of OJ. I really was not hungry this morning but I knew I had to put some fuel in me to start the day. My saying is still "shake it off" and I will ocntinue with it. I liked that there were some boxing moves in the exercise so this workout was fun. I hope to see you guys tomorrow and I hope that you are making steps towards your goal. Whether big or small accomplishments, be proud of what you did because you are just that closer to acheiving your goal and being L.I.N.D.A.

I feel good
I am very proud of myself for the hard work I put in the last two weeks. Every little accomplish is like winning the lotto as you climb the ladder to a healthier and stronger person. I am not going to say that the last two weeks were easy. I had some slips up but I told myself that tomorrow is a new day and I will get back on my grind and my goal. So today I got up with my lovely boys and play Wii with them and did some housework. They left for the weekend with their father and I took to the pavement. I did a pretty descent run today.
I had lunch with my friend and yes I did take in 2 beers. I am not going to deny myself but I knew that 2 was it. I came home and worked out and read for a little bit before getting ready for tonight’s event. I pulled out a pair of jeans that I had for about 4 years. My youngest will be 4 in February so they are pre little man. I looked at them as if to say I know I have been working my butt off but I know I have not worked that hard to get back into these. My little angel on my right shoulder said “try them on, you never know until you try.” So I took a deep breath and slide one leg in which would be my left because it is smaller than my right and then I took another deep breath and slide my right leg in. I pulled up and was surprise to get them on. I let out the sigh and said the test is about to start when it is time to fasten them and what do you know they fasten and zipped up. I ran out my room screaming. Yes I screamed like someone had just broken into my house. I looked into the mirror and was happy to see the person looking back at me. I did it. So now the bar is raised to step up my game for the next two weeks.
I will tell you I have been exhausted these last two weeks with work starting back up, school this week for me, and carving out time for my boys. Workouts starting at 8:30, 9 at night sometimes later. All I can say is I made it through it and I have seen the payoff right now. I will continue and I hope that my blogs are helping and that it inspires you to find your inner L.I.N.D.A. Well I am off to boot scoot boogie tonight and I hope you are all enjoying your evening. Until next time...

Day 4 and 5 Challenge Results
Day 4:
Pushups/tuck jumps: 6
press ups with 8lb kettle bell: 33
triple plank jumps: 3 counted them as one complete set of both sides
sit ups knees to chest extension: 12
The abs was my best one of the 4 exercises. Upper body is what I need to work on more and I can't wait until I am at the end of this program to see my results.
Day 5:
High knees 4 x 75 and leg raises 4 x 25
Time completed: 10:12
This was a hard week for me getting back into the swing of things with work, school, and my kids. Through it all I completed each task to its fullest and pushed through when my mind wanted to quit. I am very proud of how I did and hope that I will bring that time down as I complete this 30 day challenge. Congrats to all that have completed week 1 and I look forward to seeing you guys in week 2. Rest this week but don't fall off. Your body at this moment wants to stop but don't let that signal travel to your brain. Football will be on this weekend and I know that couch and the football food is calling but don't let it get you off track. Continue to fight and I will be here tomorrow letting you know how my weekend went. Until then, I say good night and have a safe and happy weekend.

My 30 Day Challenge
This afternoon after doing my workout and getting things ready for the work week coming up, I stumbled across this page on Facebook called Hungry Healthy Happy that found a 30 day challenge. I clicked on the link and found that the challenge is for you in 30 days to have challenged your body to become better. You take the test to see where you are in fitness and then each day you will have workouts to do. We rest on the weekend to give our body time to recoup and get ready for the next week. Others are doing this challenge so the key to this is supporting one another to push to be a better healthy person. You choose the goal you want (lose 5 to 10 lbs., tone body, strength, lose inches) and at the end of the 30 days you see if you met it. I will be starting this alongside Hungry Healthy Happy tomorrow. My goal is to lose 10 lbs. or more in 30 days and to tone my body. The site that Hungry Healthy Happy got this challenge from was Body Rock TV. I looked over it and it is a great site. They have free workouts on there and great advice on eating healthy and reaching your goals. There is a great support system on this site that answers your questions and helps you become the better you. So I challenge you to the 30 Day challenge. You don't have to start when I start but starting it and letting me know how you are doing and what you thought about the workouts would be great and I will be here to support you the whole way. You can let me know how you are doing here or go onto Facebook to my page Keya Lowe. I will post the workout for each day and you just run with it. I will tell you when you are doing the workouts; you don't have to go at her pace. Do it at your pace and you will see the progress. This is your challenge so do what you are able to do but the idea is to challenge yourself. I will post the link to Body Rock TV below and I hope to hear how you are doing. I will let you know where I stand tomorrow. Have a great night and remember to be L.I.N.D.A.

What a week
The title says it all. It was a crazy week. With the kids back in school and it felt like the first day of school I thought to myself "let's hop back in bed and press the rewind button." The one thing I can say is, it is Friday and I am so happy that the weekend is here. I got the boys this weekend and we are going to live it up. Tonight I got challenged to a dance off on the Wii. All I can say is "I'm the King!!" Yeah I said it. My 9 year old and 3 year old had nothing on me. It's great that I can get my workout on and have fun all at the same time. This weekend I have decided to make a list of all the things I want to do. First on my list is to get back into singing. I have missed doing this so much and I want to get back into it. Right close behind that is dancing, hip-hop of course. I think we all get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of life that we forget about what life is and has to offer.
With that said, what would you put on your list? What have you missed that you have put to the back burner or the back of the closet as we say. I challenge you to make a list and not only write it but do what's on it. Have a great evening and I’ll keep you posted.

Welcome back to me
Hello everyone. I am back. It was a rough year for me and now I have found myself and am ready to focus back on the goal. Good news first. I did not gain more weight than I took off. Bad news; I gained back 9 of the 30 pounds I took off. Overall, it has been a good journey that I can look back on and say I am proud of myself. I hope that everyone is having a great New Year and those goals whether big or small are being accomplished and that we continue to strive for better in ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
As I was saying, last year was tough. I separated from my husband and it took a toll on me. As much as I love him I have come to forgive him. In order to heal myself and make me the person I want to be, I have to not hang on to anger. On that note, I have brought myself back to something that I had forgotten church. I am not going to be on her telling you that you need to get right with the lord but I will tell you this; once I talked to him and said that I was given him my troubles and that I would allow him to lead me. There are still days I have my moments but overall I am moving towards a new me and new beginning.
I would like to thank all who stepped up in my life and those who are new in my world for coming into. I would not have gotten through it without you and I am forever grateful for you. Here is to a wonderful year for all.
